ITA medical GmbH & Co. KG ist ein ISO-13485-zertifizierter Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) für Medizintextilien mit Sitz in Aachen. Das Unternehmen entwickelt und fertigt implantierbare Textilien, chirurgische Netze und Biomaterialien – von der Materialentwicklung über Prototypenbau bis zur skalierbaren Serienproduktion. Die Technologien umfassen Melt- und Solution-Spinning (Mono- und Multifilamente, Bicomponent-Fasern, Co-Extrusion ab 30 g Ansatzmenge), Elektrospinnen von Nanofasern (100–5000 nm) sowie Flechten, Weben und Wirken von 2D- und 3D-Strukturen. Verarbeitet werden bioabbaubare Polymere wie PLA, PLGA, PCL, P4HB und PLLA, nicht-abbaubare Polymere wie PET, PVDF und TPU sowie Metalle wie Nitinol, Magnesium und Edelstahl. Anwendungsfelder sind kardiovaskuläre und neurovaskuläre Geräte, allgemeine Chirurgie, Orthopädie und Tissue Engineering.
