1A Dauerlauferprobung GmbH (1A DLE), based in Marbach am Neckar, is part of the Karl Unterweger group of companies, which also includes TESTTEC Prüfstandtechnik und Bauteilerprobungs GmbH in Ainet (Austria) and TZU Unterweger GmbH in Gaimberg (Austria). The corporate group designs and manufactures test systems and special-purpose machines for highly complex testing and adjustment tasks – from concept and project planning through development, design, measurement/control/software engineering and manufacturing to assembly, commissioning and training. The portfolio includes hydraulic pulse and burst pressure test systems, gas pressure systems, radiator performance, pump and gearbox test benches, oil temperature control units and custom special systems. In addition, contract testing of components and assemblies (burst, pulse, endurance and leak tests) is offered in the company's own test centers, as well as modernization of old test systems. TZU GmbH performs mechanical manufacturing of precision parts in single, small and medium series. Customers include automotive suppliers, electronics companies, industrial enterprises and research institutes; since 1996 the company has been a system supplier to the development departments of Robert Bosch GmbH. Systems have been delivered, among other places, to South America and Asia.
