Getting started
10What is the Amplifa Marketplace?
Amplifa is a B2B marketplace for industrial procurement. Buyers find suitable providers, create requests for proposals and handle communication centrally; providers showcase their services and process relevant inquiries.
Who is Amplifa intended for?
Amplifa is aimed at commercial buyers as well as industrial manufacturers and service providers. The platform is not designed for private purchases or consumer offerings.
In which countries can I use Amplifa?
The marketplace focuses on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Provider profiles and search filters can therefore be narrowed specifically to these countries and regions.
Do I need an account to search for providers?
No. The public provider search and published company profiles can be viewed without registering. An account is required for the watchlist, comparison, requests for proposals and messages.
How do I register?
Open "Register", enter your business contact details and confirm your email address. Then select or create your company and complete the steps relevant to your role.
What information do I need to get started?
For your account, your name, a business email address and a secure password are sufficient at first. When linking to a company, the company name and, if applicable, the website or proof of company registration are also required.
Can I use Amplifa as both a buyer and a provider?
Yes. A company can buy and at the same time offer its own services. Which areas are visible depends on the company assignment, the roles assigned and the maintained profile.
How do I find my way around after logging in?
After logging in, you will see the central workspace with the marketplace, requests for proposals, messages and the company area. The navigation remains available on all subpages.
Is there a public homepage?
Yes. The homepage shows the main entry points to search, categories and current requests for proposals. For daily work, logged-in users switch to their personal workspace.
Where can I find help on a specific topic?
Use the search at the top of this page or choose a category. Each answer also has a direct link that you can save or share with colleagues.
Supplier search & matching
12How do I search for a suitable provider?
Enter a process, material, product or company name in the search. Add location and filters if needed; the results are then displayed according to the selected sorting.
Which filters are available in the provider search?
Depending on the available data, you can filter by, among other things, category, process, material, certifications, country, distance, capacity and verification status.
How does matching work?
Your search or inquiry data is compared with the structured service data of the providers. Match reasons show which processes, materials or requirements match particularly well.
What does the match score mean?
The match score is an orientation based on the available profile and inquiry data. It does not replace your own technical, commercial or qualitative review of the provider.
Can I search by distance?
Yes. Enter a location or postal code and select a radius. The distance is based on the stored locations and serves as a geographic reference point.
Can I compare multiple suppliers?
Yes. Mark suitable suppliers using “Compare”. The comparison view displays key profile information side by side, making differences easier to spot.
How do I save a supplier?
Click “Save” on a search result or company profile. Logged-in users will then find saved suppliers in their watchlist and can remove them there.
Why can't I see a supplier I expected?
Check your search term, filters and radius. A profile may also still be under review, unpublished, blocked, or listed under a different company name.
Can I filter by certifications?
Yes, provided the certifications are stored in a structured form in the supplier profile. Nevertheless, always verify validity, scope and original proof yourself before awarding a contract.
How are search results sorted?
Depending on the view, you can sort by best match, rating, response time or distance, for example. Sponsored entries are marked as such.
Are match reasons binding evidence of suitability?
No. Match reasons explain the data match but are no guarantee. Technical feasibility, quality, price and delivery date must be confirmed in the offer.
Can I use categories instead of search terms?
Yes. The category overview leads to specialized pages with subcategories and matching suppliers. From there you can narrow down your search further.
Tenders & quotes
14How do I create a request for proposal?
Open the “Requests for Proposals” section, select “New Request” and enter the title, requirements, quantity, deadline and optional files. You can review all details before sending.
What information should a good request for proposal contain?
Describe the component or service, material, quantity, tolerances, quality requirements, delivery location and date. Drawings and clearly defined file versions reduce follow-up questions.
Can I attach files to a request for proposal?
Yes. You can add relevant technical documents in the designated upload area. Upload only necessary documents and remove confidential content that suppliers do not need.
How far in the future must the offer deadline be?
The platform requires at least two days' lead time for new requests for proposals. For complex inquiries, choose a realistic longer deadline.
Can I invite specific suppliers?
Yes. Per dispatch, you can select up to ten suppliers; in total, up to twenty invitations per request for proposal are provided. Invited suppliers see the request in their workspace.
Can a request for proposal be published anonymously?
Yes. In the case of an anonymous request for proposal, the company name remains hidden at first and only becomes visible after the intended release. Necessary technical information is still included.
How do I submit a bid as a supplier?
Open the invitation to the still-active tender and enter price, delivery time, terms and notes. Please review all details carefully before submitting.
Can I change my bid afterwards?
Yes, as long as the tender is open and the deadline has not expired. Once the deadline has passed, changes are no longer possible.
Can I withdraw a bid?
Yes, a supplier may withdraw their bid while the deadline is still open. After that, the status displayed in the tender applies.
What does a sealed tender mean?
In a sealed tender, bid details remain hidden until the designated point in time. This prevents incoming bids from influencing each other.
How do I compare submitted bids?
The bid overview presents price, delivery time, terms and other details side by side. Also assess technical suitability, certifications and any open questions.
How do I award a contract?
After the deadline or evaluation, select the desired bid and confirm the award. The platform documents the decision and notifies the participants according to the intended process.
Is a bid on Amplifa automatically a contract?
No. Amplifa supports the inquiry, communication and selection. Whether and when a legally binding contract is formed depends on the bid, acceptance and the agreements between the participating companies.
What happens after the bidding deadline expires?
The tender is treated as expired and new bids are blocked. The buyer can evaluate existing bids and determine the next status.
For suppliers
12How do I become visible as a supplier?
Assign your account to a company, adopt or create the company profile, and maintain the relevant capability data. Only approved profile versions are published.
Which profile data is especially important for suppliers?
Complete processes, materials, machines, batch sizes, tolerances, certifications, locations and meaningful references improve the professional assessment of your profile.
How do I receive matching inquiries?
Structured, up-to-date profile data supports matching. In addition, buyers can find your profile, save it, compare it and invite you directly to tenders.
Do I have to submit a bid for every invitation?
No. If an inquiry does not fit, you can decline it with a factual reason. An early response helps the buyer with further planning.
Which rejection reasons can I specify?
Provided options include, among others, lack of capacity, unsuitable process, unsuitable quantity or deadline, as well as a free-text other reason.
How do I improve the quality of my supplier profile?
Keep capability limits specific, upload valid certifications and avoid generic promotional claims. Regularly check researched data for accuracy and up-to-dateness.
Does a complete profile affect discoverability?
A complete profile provides more usable data for search and matching. However, it does not guarantee any specific ranking position or number of inquiries.
What does 'Maintained by the company' mean?
This badge indicates that an authorized company representative has claimed the profile. It is not a substitute for certificates, credit checks, or your own supplier assessment.
Can I specify capacities in my profile?
Yes. You can maintain available capacities and realistic lead times wherever the profile section provides for this. Update outdated information promptly.
Can I list multiple locations?
Yes. Company and production sites can be stored in a structured way. Make sure to assign services to the location actually responsible for them.
Are provider ratings a guarantee of performance?
No. Ratings reflect the experiences of other users and do not replace your own assessment. Individual projects can differ significantly in scope and terms.
Can I view my company profile on the public marketplace?
Yes. The 'View on marketplace' link leads to the published profile. Changes not yet approved will only appear there after successful review.
Company profile & claiming
12Why is there already a profile for my company?
Amplifa researches publicly available company data to make the industrial marketplace usable. An existing profile can be claimed and corrected by an authorized company representative.
How do I claim an existing company profile?
Open the profile and select 'Claim profile'. Log in and then complete verification via your company email or manual review.
Which email address counts as company verification?
The address must belong to a plausible domain of the company. Free general email services such as Gmail or web.de do not count as company verification.
How does the six-digit claim code work?
Amplifa prepares a six-digit code for a matching company address. The code is valid for 30 minutes and may be entered incorrectly a maximum of five times.
How often can I request a new code?
To prevent abuse, a maximum of five code requests per hour is allowed. If you reach the limit, please wait and try again later.
What do I do without access to a company email?
Choose manual verification. Provide your role and business contact details and add suitable supporting evidence if needed.
What evidence can I use for a manual claim?
Suitable are documents or verifiable business data that prove your role and connection to the company. Avoid unnecessary personal or confidential content.
How long is a claim invitation valid?
A claim link issued by Amplifa is valid for 60 days. After that, a new verification or a new invitation must be used.
Why can't I send a new invitation to the same company?
Invitations are limited to a 30-day interval per company. This protects businesses from repeated messages.
What happens if the profile has already been claimed?
A second ownership claim is not possible in that case. Instead, use the option to join the existing company team or contact Amplifa in case of a conflict.
What can I change after a successful claim?
As the owner, you can maintain the profile, manage team members, and submit changes for review. Public changes only appear after the approval process.
Can a profile claim be rejected?
Yes. If the proof is insufficient or contradictory, Amplifa may ask follow-up questions or reject the request. In that case, submit clearer proof.
Account, company, team & roles
10How long do I stay logged in?
By default, the login session is retained for up to 30 days. If you disable this option at login or log out, this extended session will not be used.
How do I associate my account with a company?
After registering, you can search for an existing company, request to join it, or create a new company. The available options depend on the company's status.
What company roles are available?
There are Owner, Admin, Member, and Read-only roles. These roles determine who may manage the company and team, edit content, or only view information.
What is an owner allowed to do?
Owners manage the company, the profile, team roles, and particularly sensitive company actions. At least one responsible owner should be permanently reachable.
What is a company admin allowed to do?
Company admins assist with the profile, team, and operational tasks. Ownership transfers or particularly sensitive actions may be reserved for the owner.
What is a member allowed to do?
Members edit the content and processes that have been made available for their work. They cannot assign permissions that exceed their own role.
What does read-only mean?
Users with the read-only role can view released company information and work areas but cannot change content or states.
How do I invite a colleague?
Open Company & Team, enter the business email address, and select a permitted role. The recipient joins via the invitation link.
Can I belong to multiple companies?
The platform is designed for a clear company assignment per work context. If a change or special case is necessary, please contact the responsible company administration.
How do I leave or delete a company?
Such actions depend on your role and the remaining owners. Transfer responsibility first so that the company is not left without an authorized administrator.
Inbox, messages & documents
10What is the Inbox for?
The Inbox consolidates inquiries, messages, statuses, and documents between buyers and suppliers. This keeps all communication tied to a single case.
Can I send files in a conversation?
Yes. Use the attachment area of the conversation and check the file name, version, and recipient list before sending.
What confidential data should I not send?
Only share project-related data that the recipient actually needs. Passwords, private ID documents, unnecessary personnel data, and unprotected login credentials do not belong in messages.
Can I compose a message using voice input?
Yes, provided your browser allows microphone access. The speech is transcribed; always review and correct the text before sending.
How can I see whether a message has been read?
The Inbox tracks read status per conversation. Depending on the view, it shows which cases are new or have already been read.
What happens when I archive a case?
Archived cases disappear from the active overview but are not automatically deleted. They remain accessible via the designated archive filter.
Can I archive with a swipe gesture on mobile?
Yes. Supported mobile lists offer a swipe action. A regular button remains available as an alternative.
Can AI create a message draft?
Yes. The AI can suggest a draft based on the information available. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and sending the content.
How do I forward an inquiry internally?
Use the designated team and responsibility functions within the case. Internal notes remain separate from messages sent to the other party.
Pricing, plans & invoices
8Is Amplifa free for buyers?
Yes. Supplier search and creating requests for proposals are free for buyers, unless otherwise indicated on the platform.
Which supplier plans are available?
Basic, Pro, and Premium plans with different offer and user limits are planned. Self-service signup is not yet active; binding terms will be displayed before you subscribe.
Can I subscribe online?
Not yet. The payment integration is being prepared. Until it is activated, simply using a button will not create a paid subscription.
What limits apply to suppliers?
Limits may apply to the number of offers per month and the number of team users. The plan confirmed at signup is decisive; the dashboard shows the currently configured limits.
Are prices net or gross?
Business customer prices are shown net, plus statutory value-added tax, where indicated. A binding invoice shows the tax and the total amount.
Where can I find my invoices?
The planned subscription and invoice view will be activated together with the payment integration. Until then, you will not receive any automatically generated online invoices via a self-service checkout.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Plan changes and cancellations will be provided with the subscription system. Until it is activated, only individually confirmed agreements apply.
Are payments already processed automatically?
No. Automated payment processing is not yet active. Amplifa will update this FAQ and the price view before a self-service purchase becomes possible.
Security & privacy
12How do I protect my account?
Use a unique strong password, enable 2FA, and review unknown sign-in events. Never share your recovery codes with anyone.
What are the password requirements?
A new password must contain at least twelve characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Open the security settings, connect an authenticator app, and confirm the code displayed. Afterwards, store your recovery codes in a safe place.
Can recovery codes be used multiple times?
No. Each recovery code can only be used once. If you generate new codes, the old ones become invalid.
How do I change my email address?
Start the change in the security settings and confirm your current password. Then follow the verification steps for the new address.
How do I change or reset my password?
When signed in, you can change it in the security section. If you have lost access, use "Forgot password" on the login page and follow the link in the email.
Can I sign out other sessions?
Yes. In the security section, you can end other active sessions. If you notice unknown activity, also report it to Amplifa and change your password.
How do I delete my account?
Request deletion in the account section and confirm the security prompt. During the displayed grace period, you can still cancel the deletion.
Can I request access to my data?
Yes. You can exercise your statutory rights as a data subject. Use the contact details in the privacy policy for access, rectification, or erasure.
Who can see my company data?
Public profile information is visible in the marketplace. Internal company, account, and communication data are restricted through authentication, roles, and database rules.
Where are data protection details explained?
The privacy policy describes purposes, legal bases, recipients and rights. The Trust Center supplements this with information on security and technical measures.
What should I do if I suspect a security incident?
Change your password immediately, end all other sessions, and notify Amplifa using the contact details listed in the legal notice or Trust Center.
AI, research & data quality
10What does Amplifa use AI for?
AI supports, among other things, company research, profile structuring, matching, message drafts, and the evaluation of inquiry texts. Decisions and content should be reviewed by humans.
Which model does Amplifa use for text tasks?
For the intended text tasks, Amplifa uses GLM 5.3 Flash with a low thinking level via OpenRouter. Speech transcription may use a separate speech service.
How are company profiles researched?
Public websites are technically captured and the relevant details are then structured. Sources and confidence levels help make the results traceable later.
Are AI-researched profile data guaranteed to be correct?
No. Websites can be outdated, contradictory, or incomplete. Company representatives and users should verify decision-relevant information against current original sources.
Can a company correct researched information?
Yes. An authorized representative can claim the profile and submit changes. The new version is versioned and reviewed before public release.
Are unreviewed profile changes used for matching immediately?
No. Structured matching data is only adopted once a profile version has gone live. This ensures that drafts do not feed directly into search.
How does Amplifa explain an AI match?
Visible match reasons cite matching attributes from the inquiry and the supplier profile. Internal weightings and protective mechanisms are not fully disclosed.
Can I rely solely on an AI draft?
No. Check technical values, deadlines, recipients, and tone before sending. The user remains responsible for the released message or tender.
Are sources and uncertainty stored?
For enriched profiles, field sources and confidence levels can be stored in a structured way. This facilitates later reviews but does not replace current confirmation from the original source.
Can a future assistant use structured company data?
The released service, material, machine, and source data are structured and prepared for search and future assistant functions. The exact assistant will be developed separately.
Verification, trust & fairness
8How are suppliers verified?
Depending on the case, Amplifa checks commercial registers, VAT IDs, legal notices, email domains, and submitted certificates. Verification is an identity and plausibility check, not a guarantee of performance.
How long does verification take?
There is no publicly committed processing time. Complete, consistent documentation makes the review easier; follow-up questions may extend the duration.
What does the Verified badge mean?
It indicates that specified company details have been checked. It does not guarantee creditworthiness, technical suitability, delivery capability, or any particular project outcome.
Are certificates checked for content?
Certificate details may be checked for evidence, validity, and plausibility. Before awarding a contract, additionally verify the scope, location, and current validity yourself.
Are sponsored providers clearly identifiable?
Yes. Paid placements are marked as “Sponsored”. Sponsoring does not replace verification and does not change the content of reviews.
How does Amplifa handle suspicious activity?
Internal risk and moderation processes review anomalies. Details of individual protective rules are not published so that they cannot be circumvented.
Can a company profile be blocked?
Yes. In cases of abuse, significant inconsistencies, or rule violations, a profile can be restricted or blocked. Blocked profiles are not available for regular use.
How do I report false or problematic content?
Send the profile or case link with a factual description to hello@amplifa.ai. A dedicated report button is currently not available in all views.
Mobile & technology
8Can I use Amplifa on my smartphone?
Yes. The marketplace, profiles, and workspaces are optimized for mobile browsers. For extensive tables or documents, a larger display is nevertheless more comfortable.
Does Amplifa work on tablets?
Yes. Navigation, filters, and content areas adapt to tablet widths. For wide comparisons, rotate the device to landscape mode if needed.
Which browsers are supported?
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox. Outdated browsers may limit modern login, upload, or security features.
Why does the marketplace sometimes load slowly?
Complex filters, a slow connection, or a freshly started preview can cause delays. Result data is loaded page by page, not as a complete dataset.
Why does a file upload fail?
Check the file type, size, internet connection, and whether the file is currently locked by another program. Then try the upload again.
Does voice input require permission?
Yes. Your browser must allow microphone access for the site. Without permission, you can still type messages normally.
Can I enable browser notifications?
The platform offers in-app notifications; available browser or email settings depend on the respective event and the activated delivery method.
Is the FAQ usable with a keyboard and screen reader?
Yes. Search, filters, and expandable questions use labeled standard controls and visible focus states. Amplifa welcomes feedback on any accessibility barriers.

The code may have expired, already been used, or been locked after five failed attempts. Request a new code while observing the hourly limit.
I can't find my company during assignment – what should I do?

The contracting party is amplifa GmbH, as named in the legal notice and in the respective agreed contract documents. The documents valid at the time of conclusion of the contract are decisive.
Who is responsible for information in tenders and bids?
The publishing party is responsible for the accuracy, rights and permissibility of its content. Amplifa provides the platform and does not fully verify every technical statement.
What content is not permitted on Amplifa?
Content that is unlawful, deceptive, harmful or infringes rights is prohibited, as are access credentials and unnecessary sensitive personal data.
Does Amplifa replace legal or procurement advice?
No. Platform content and this FAQ are general information. Review contracts, export regulations, taxes and technical risks with the appropriate experts.
Which law applies to transactions between users?
That depends on the agreements between buyer and vendor. The Amplifa terms & conditions govern use of the platform, but do not automatically govern every supply contract between companies.
