1KOMMA5° was founded in 2021 in Hamburg and is a provider of integrated energy solutions for private households and commercial properties. The offering includes photovoltaic systems with its own solar modules in TopCon technology, battery storage, heat pumps, wallboxes and air conditioning systems. The core element is the in-house developed energy management system Heartbeat AI, which brings photovoltaics, storage, heat pump and wallbox together into a networked energy system and fully automatically optimizes it based on wholesale electricity prices, weather forecasts and consumption patterns. This is complemented by the dynamic electricity tariff Dynamic Pulse as well as maintenance and service after commissioning. Installation is carried out by regional master craft businesses and a network of installation partners; consulting, planning, coordination of all trades and service are provided from a single source. According to its own statements, more than 120,000 households are equipped with 1K5° energy systems and over 300,000 controllable energy systems have been installed. The company employs more than 3,000 people worldwide at over 80 locations in Europe and Australia.
