About 2G Energy
2G Energy AG, headquartered in Heek (Westmünsterland), is an internationally active manufacturer of combined heat and power (CHP) systems for decentralised generation of electricity and heat. The product portfolio comprises the CHP series g-box (20–50 kW), agenitor (75–500 kW), aura (100–420 kW), patruus (140–263 kW) and avus (548–4,500 kW) as well as ORC modules (HT-ORC-150 to HT-ORC-660 TWIN) for power generation from waste heat. The systems are operated with natural gas, biogas, biomethane, liquefied petroleum gas, landfill gas, sewage gas and, on request, hydrogen; an in-house R&D team continuously develops the gas engine technology, including the proprietary Lambda-1 technology of the aura series. In addition to development, manufacturing and testing in Heek, the company offers planning, project engineering, installation, commissioning, 24/7 service, remote diagnostics, remanufacturing as well as rental and leasing models through 2G Rental GmbH. Fields of application include biogas and biomethane, energy utilities, manufacturing industry, agriculture, wastewater treatment and landfill sites, the food industry, hotels, swimming pools, data centres and healthcare. A global network of subsidiaries and partners covers sales and service worldwide.

Fuels and Technologies
Natural gas
Standard fuel for the CHP series from g-box to avus with high total and calorific efficiencies.
Biogas
Renewable fuel from biogas plants, also usable with fluctuating gas qualities.
Biomethane
Upgraded biogas for CHP units with increased subsidy options.
Hydrogen
Hydrogen-capable variants of the agenitor and avus series (404c H2 to 412 H2 and avus 416plus/1000plus H2).
Landfill gas
Digestion gas from landfills, usable as a fuel for CHP after treatment.
Sewage gas
Gas from sewage sludge fermentation for on-site generation of electricity and heat at wastewater treatment plants.
Liquefied petroleum gas
Fuel option of the g-box series for sites without a natural gas connection.
Organic Rankine Cycle
Process for generating electricity from waste heat using an organic working fluid, increasing overall CHP efficiency by up to 4 %.
