3D tool design GmbH is an independent design service provider focused on injection molding tools. Since 2015, the company has been supplying toolmakers, manufacturers and OEMs with services in the areas of tool design, thermoplastic injection molding simulation, part design optimization, consulting, project planning and quotation concepts. In its designs, the economic interests of toolmaking and injection molding are jointly taken into account. Simulation tasks are adapted to the specific project, so that customers receive the results they need without excessive costs. Owner Michel Erhard has around 30 years of experience in plastics technology and is a trained toolmaker with further qualification as a plastics technician. The company is based in Langnau im Emmental, Switzerland, and serves its customers in German and English.
