About 3dvisionlabs
3dvisionlabs GmbH, based in Chemnitz, develops industrial 2D edge cameras and tailored vision solutions for industrial automation. Founded in 2017, the company emerged from stereo vision research at Chemnitz University of Technology and initially brought the omnidirectional 3D stereo camera series HemiStereo® to market, including the Development Kit DK1 and the high-resolution depth camera NX designed for mobile robots. Since 2022, the company has focused on industrial 2D edge cameras, whose first product generation was introduced with the C7 in 2023. In addition to series products, 3dvisionlabs offers development services: optical system design, custom product development including prototyping and testing, production-grade camera calibration, custom hardware design for NVIDIA Jetson SoM, operating system and driver development for NVIDIA L4T, CUDA programming, and AI software development including dataset creation and transfer learning. Target industries include industrial automation, mobile robotics, machine vision, and 3D metrology.
