About 3R
3R AG manufactures sledges, toboggans and garden and outdoor products from Swiss wood in Sulgen in the canton of Thurgau. Its core competence is bending wood using steam bending; in addition, the company operates a wheelwright's shop and realizes custom-made products and individual wood projects (3R Wood Artists). For the sledges of the 3R Original Davoser brand, exclusively ash wood from FSC-certified forests in Eastern Switzerland is used; overall, around 98% of the wood used comes from Eastern Switzerland. The production building and the adjacent property are heated by a modern wood-fired heating system, which also supplies the steam generator for the bending shop with energy. The product range includes, alongside sledges and toboggans, raised beds, garden benches, loungers, garden tables and spare parts. Customers come from the fields of sledge and toboggan manufacturing, woodworking, and garden and outdoor products.
