3S Industry (3S Lift) was founded in 2005 in Beijing and is a global provider of safety technology, lifting equipment and integrated service solutions for the wind energy and energy sector. The company manufactures service lifts for wind turbine towers (rack-and-pinion, ladder-guided and wire-rope-guided, payload up to 480 kg), Climb Auto Systems, Climb Assists, platforms, aluminium ladders, Fall Protection Systems, evacuation and rescue equipment, offshore cranes as well as personal protective equipment. Manufacturing includes stamping, cutting, bending and welding of steel and aluminium; the welding process is certified to EN 1090 and ISO 15614. With around 900 employees, more than 60 invention patents and locations in China, the USA, Germany, India, Japan, Brazil and the UAE, the company supplies tower and wind turbine manufacturers as well as service providers in more than 70 countries. In 2021, 3S won the majority share of the global service lift demand of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy; the European seat is 3S Europe GmbH in Hamburg.
