3S-Systems GmbH was founded in 2001 by Christoph Schneider, Manfred Werner and Dieter Hess in Bad Nenndorf as a sister company of 3S-Smart Software Solutions GmbH (today CODESYS GmbH). The company is a system house for application support, consulting and training, troubleshooting, system integration and complete solutions related to the IEC 61131-3 programming system CODESYS. While CODESYS GmbH acts as the sales company of the globally operating CODESYS Group, 3S-Systems focuses on system creation and integration, application development and services related to CODESYS. The offering includes the development of customer-specific CODESYS plug-ins (configurators, standalone tools, source code generation) as well as the sale of CODESYS Engineering, CODESYS SP RTE, CODESYS HMI and CODESYS SoftMotion.
