About 4am Robotics
4am Robotics GmbH, headquartered in Plattling, automates material flows in production and logistics. The company develops and manufactures autonomous mobile robots (AMR/AGV), including autonomous forklifts of the AFi series and autonomous tugger trains of the ATi (indoor) and ATo (outdoor) series. The vehicles are based on industrially proven standard equipment from Linde and STILL, which are converted into automated guided vehicle systems using a proprietary automation kit – either as a retrofit kit for existing vehicles or as a complete vehicle. All vehicles offer dual-use operation, meaning they can be used both manually and autonomously, and communicate with MES and ERP systems via WiFi, 4G/5G and VDA5050. Services range from process analysis through pilot projects to large-scale roll-out. Customers include companies from the automotive and chemical industries; 4am Robotics GmbH is part of SCIO Automation GmbH.
