4B AG is a traditional Swiss company for the intelligent building envelope with headquarters and production in Hochdorf. Founded in 1896 as a carpentry workshop, the company develops and manufactures windows for new buildings, renovation windows, facade solutions and sliding doors, predominantly in wood-metal construction with glazing. In addition to in-house manufacturing, 4B offers on-site installation as well as a comprehensive service: repair and emergency service, one-off maintenance and maintenance contracts, retrofitting such as energy-efficient glass replacement, sound-insulating glass, new opening functions or pet doors, as well as warranty processing under SIA 118. The products are aimed at residential construction, architecture, general contractors and housing cooperatives. The company employs around 650 staff, belongs to the DOVISTA Group and celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2026. Production takes place exclusively at the Hochdorf site for the Swiss market.
