Prototype manufacturer since 1995 – everything from a single source

4D Concepts GmbH was founded in 1995 by Dipl.-Ing. Rainer Neumann and is a model and prototype manufacturing company based in Groß-Gerau in the Rhine-Main region. The 20-strong team produces prototypes, models, exhibits and small series – from the initial idea through design and 3D scanning to the finished series. Various layer-based additive manufacturing processes are used: 3D color printing (CJP), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), MultiJet 3D printing (MJP), PolyJet printing, Stereolithography (SLA), Multi Jet Fusion as well as filament printing with fiber reinforcement (FFF/CFF). In addition, the duplication processes of vacuum casting and Reaction Injection Molding (RIM/low-pressure injection molding) are offered for small series with production-grade material properties, along with conventional machining such as CNC milling, turning, laser cutting and surface finishing. Customers come from the automotive and consumer goods industries, mechanical engineering and medical technology. The company also sells 3D printer systems from 3D Systems, including consulting, service and support.
