6-sense-automation GmbH was founded in 2017 in Stade (Lower Saxony) and emerged from the service and maintenance of special machines for manufacturing large CFRP components for aircraft programs such as Airbus A350, A400M, Bombardier C Series and Embraer KC130. The family-owned company offers CNC machine service, planned and reactive maintenance, HF spindle service up to 200 kW, spare parts supply, as well as complete machine retrofits and control upgrades. A key focus is the migration from Siemens 840D sl to Sinumerik One, including PLC and machine software development, commissioning and training. Further services include machine metrology and laser calibration with the Renishaw XL80 laser interferometer, ballbar tests and 3D laser tracker, axis error compensation, mechanical upgrades up to 5-axis redesigns with Kessler kinematics, as well as installation and removal of XXL machines. As an official Siemens partner for Northern Germany and the UK, the company also offers Siemens ACM (Adaptive Control & Monitoring) and industrial software. In 2021, a branch office was opened in Elland (Yorkshire, UK); services are provided worldwide.
