A+ Composites is a company founded in 2015, based in Weselberg in Rhineland-Palatinate, and specializes in the production of unidirectional thermoplastic tapes (UD tapes). The company produces more than 250 different variants, in which fiber type, fiber-to-plastic ratio, thickness and width are adjusted to customer specifications. Carbon, glass and aramid are used as reinforcement fibers, and matrix plastics include polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyamide 6 (PA6) and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). Production takes place both in small and large series. Ongoing research projects and patented technologies form the foundation of product development and have been honored with several innovation awards. A quality management system in accordance with DIN 9001 (ISO 9001) accompanies the entire production process.
