A. Hoffmann GmbH is a family-owned company based in Bad Griesbach (St. Salvator district) in Lower Bavaria and manufactures dog harnesses in craftsman quality under the Feltmann brand. The product range includes, besides the patented Feltmann cross harnesses — including the escape-proof NoExit® safety harness as well as special designs for pugs, very small and very large dogs — also dog leashes, dog collars, neoprene padding, personalized leather name tags and care products. Production is carried out by cutting and sewing nylon webbing (Soft Grip, Super Soft, tubular webbing) with Wienerlock® plastic or Alu-Max® metal quick-release buckles; the webbing comes from German or European production and meets the Oeko-Tex criteria. Typical customers are dog owners as well as the animal welfare sector, for which the NoExit® harness was developed. In addition to online mail order, the company operates a factory outlet in Bad Griesbach that is open seven days a week, and offers custom-made products as well as personal telephone consulting.
