About Us

a.m.-b. WERKZEUGSTAHL GmbH, based in Ockenheim (Rhineland-Palatinate), is a specialized supplier of high-quality pre-machined tool steels. The company supplies toolmaking and related industries with over 600,000 machined steels in 13 different materials, which can be delivered at short notice from 5 central warehouses in Germany, 7 warehouses in Europe and 2 warehouses in the Far East. The materials are produced in accordance with EN-ISO 4957 (DIN 1735) and include, among others, 1.2510/1.2842, 1.2379, 1.2767, 1.2312, 1.2343 (including the ESU variant), 1.2083, 1.4112, 1.2990, B-PM-23 as well as structural steel ST 52-3. In the company's own modern CNC center, pre-machined and precision-ground tool steels are manufactured in special dimensions. Standard stock dimensions are shipped immediately upon delivery, with orders placed before 14:00 shipped the same day. All precision-ground and pre-machined steels are delivered lightly oiled and packed with corrosion protection; each piece is labeled with information on the material number, alloy constituents and dimensions, enabling traceability back to the melting date.
