Automation from a single source
a-on AG was founded in 2002 in Munich as a merger of two renowned companies from the automation industry and is headquartered today in Oberding near Munich. The company offers all services for comprehensive automation solutions from a single source: from consulting, conceptual design and project management to electrical engineering (EPLAN, AutoCAD, 3D) and control cabinet manufacturing, through to software engineering, installation and commissioning as well as maintenance and servicing. In its own production facility, control and low-voltage switchgear assemblies, individual and series cabinets, control desks, command and terminal boxes are assembled, wired and tested – from one-off pieces to large-scale series, also as an extended workbench. The mechanical machining of enclosures and mounting plates made of metal, aluminium and stainless steel is carried out on a CNC sheet-metal machining centre from Steinhauer; wire stripping and processing is handled by an automatic Metzner Triathlon 2000 system. As a certified Siemens Solution Partner (Factory Automation, BRAUMAT & SISTAR), the teams engineer process control systems such as BRAUMAT and Plant iT as well as the in-house development beraBrew for the brewing and beverage industry, which is in use worldwide. Trained testing personnel carry out electrotechnical safety tests according to DIN EN 60204-1, DIN EN 61439-1, DIN VDE 0100-600 and DIN VDE 0105-100 as well as DGUV Regulation 3 initial and repeat tests, supported by state-of-the-art measuring technology and manufacturer-specific wiring test programs. Customers can inspect the products on site as part of an acceptance test.
