About A.R.C. Laser
A.R.C. Laser GmbH was founded in 1996 and develops and manufactures medical laser systems at its Nuremberg site. The portfolio includes ophthalmological lasers for glaucoma therapy, cataract, after-cataract treatment and retinal photocoagulation, lasers for ENT surgery, general surgery and veterinary medicine, as well as slit lamps for diagnostics. The product range includes diode lasers (e.g. FOX IV 810), the Cetus NanoLaser for cataract surgery, CO2 lasers (C-Las), Q-switched Nd:YAG and SLT lasers (Q-Las, CITO 532), combination lasers (COBRA, VARIO) and the blue diode laser TruBlue. All development and manufacturing takes place in Germany; short supply chains at the Nuremberg site enable fast delivery times. The company works closely with specialist physicians and university hospitals in product development and operates a quality management system in accordance with EN ISO 13485:2016. The service offering includes maintenance and safety-technical inspection at two-year intervals, a 24-hour service, training through the A.R.C. Academy, as well as consumables and patient marketing. Customers are users from all over the world.

Laser Media & Processes
Nd:YAG (Neodymium-doped Yttrium-Aluminium-Garnet)
Solid-state laser medium for capsulotomy, iridotomy and Q-switched systems (1064 nm).
CO2 (Carbon Dioxide)
Gaseous laser medium at 10600 nm for ultra-fine, virtually bloodless cutting and ablation of tissue.
Semiconductor Diode (Diode Laser)
Laser medium with a wavelength of 810 nm and up to 8 W of power for glaucoma and retinal therapy.
ArgonGreen diode technology
The wavelength of the argon laser (514 nm) for laser photocoagulation with reduced pain sensation.
SLT (frequency-doubled Nd:YAG, µ-chip technology)
Diode-pumped technology for the fastest repetition rates and homogeneous spots in glaucoma therapy.
NanoLaser medium (pulsed)
Pulsed laser with 3–10 mJ pulses for photofragmentation in cataract surgery.
