About us
A.S.O. Metall- und Schrotthandels-GmbH is a family-owned company based in Bunde in East Frisia whose history dates back to 1970 and began in the Netherlands. In 2006, the operation was expanded to Bunde on the German-Dutch border. The company offers a complete solution for the environmentally friendly recycling of metal scrap: purchase and sale of scrap metal, licence-exempt trading (import and export) in metals of all kinds, dismantling of pipelines, machinery, factories, ships and industrial plants, demolition work of any scale, recycling as well as container rental. In addition, with the appropriate permit, the company purchases used batteries and lead-acid batteries; prices are based on the LME lead price. At the Bunde site, the scrap is weighed on calibrated scales (capacity up to 70 tonnes), broken down and categorised before being passed on to recycling companies. The four-person team primarily serves German customers.
