AAV Allgemeiner Arbeitsschutz-Vertrieb GmbH is a trading company founded in 1987 and family-run in its second generation, headquartered in Hannover, which distributes personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout Europe. Under its umbrella brand Allprotec®, registered since 1997, the company offers protective gloves (work gloves, cut-resistant gloves, chemical-protection gloves, disposable gloves), protective clothing/workwear and disposable coveralls. Its main activities include import, purchasing, product development of its own brand products, export and sales; its own brands are produced by contract manufacturers. Customers come from retail, trades, industry, construction, care, laboratories, glass and metal processing, mechanical engineering, logistics, paint shops, the pharmaceutical industry, agriculture and the food sector. Stock items are shipped from the roughly 3000 m² high-bay warehouse in Hannover within 24 to a maximum of 48 hours on working days, supplemented by a web shop and EDI interface. As a lead distributor of the Semperguard® brand and other brands such as Ansell, MAPA, Sixton, Atlas, Portwest, Lemaitre, Gaston Mille, Cofra, U-Power and Honeywell Safety Products, AAV GmbH also acts as a system provider.
