About AB-Tec

AB-Tec is a specialized manufacturer of thermoplastic, heat-activatable adhesive webs (TecWeb®) – dry, solvent-free adhesives supplied on a roll. Since its founding in 2001, the adhesive webs have been developed and produced at the Iserlohn site in Germany. The net-like adhesive web is activated by heat activation – controlled via temperature, time and pressure – and bonds materials such as plastics, foams, textiles, metals, wood, glass or leather over the full surface without drying times. The composition is individually tailored to the customer's materials, processes and quality requirements; the path from requirements analysis through design and sampling to optimization and production release is fully accompanied. More than 100 million square meters of adhesive web are produced annually within the group of companies. Customers include the automotive and transport industries, aerospace, lightweight construction, filtration, medical technology, the construction industry as well as furniture and interior applications.
