ABACUS Chemiegesellschaft mbH was founded in 1993 by Mehmet Kaptan and manufactures professional cleaning and care products as well as lubricants at its Bergisch Gladbach site. Initially active in the distribution of cleaning products from other manufacturers, the company early on developed its own products, which have since been developed, tested and continuously optimized in-house. The range includes cleaners and concentrates, sprays and aerosols such as contact cleaner, PTFE spray and compressed air spray, as well as lubricants and sliding agents, corrosion protection and specialty products for workshops, machinery and floor cleaning machines. Production takes place in Germany, with filling among other things via an 8-fold filling system. In addition to distributing its own brands such as NELL ULTRA® and Carline, ABACUS offers contract filling optionally with private label, i.e. also supplying external companies that sell the products under their own label. Target industries include mechanical engineering, construction, automotive trades, agriculture and forestry, electrical engineering, building cleaning as well as hotels, schools, medical practices and care facilities. Sales channels are the company's own online shop, field sales, marketplaces and the teleshopping channel QVC; deliveries go to Germany and 25 EU countries.
