ABACUS SEALS GmbH, based in Bergisch Gladbach-Bensberg, has specialized in shaft seals and sealing solutions since 2005. The product range includes non-contacting and contacting shaft seals (including types AD 200, AK 300, AK 800, A2, AD 500), shaft sealing rings, gland packings, mechanical seals, carbon spindle packings, carbon bushings, carbon labyrinths and valve seats. In addition, complete buffer gas supply panels (SVP) for supplying and monitoring the seal are offered, as well as seal accessories such as shaft sleeve protectors, barrier greases and flake graphite. Manufacturing comprises graphite machining and the production of custom special designs based on individually engineered designs for each operating case. Materials used include stainless steels, high-performance alloys, titanium, carbon, graphite and PTFE materials as well as high-performance plastics such as PEEK and PE. The sealing solutions are used worldwide in industries such as turbomachinery, chemicals, food and pharma, pump and compressor engineering, power generation as well as mills and mixers.
