abamed cosmetics is an owner-managed, mid-sized service company in Jettingen-Scheppach (Bavaria) for the development, manufacture, conversion and distribution of cosmetic products. Its range of services includes consulting, formulation development and optimization, contract manufacturing of liquid to pasty products (also Private Label) from laboratory batches to industrial-scale production, as well as filling into jars, tubes, bottles, airless dispensers, sachets, canisters and IBCs. Emulsions are homogenized, heated and cooled under vacuum; a ventilation and air extraction system enables the processing of solvent-containing products and essential oils. Production complies with the EU Cosmetics Regulation and Cosmetic GMP per DIN ISO 22716; natural cosmetics are produced according to the COSMOS standard. Customers come from cosmetics, natural cosmetics, private-label retail brands and household cleaning products. A barcode-based inventory management system, a high-bay warehouse and shipping including direct delivery to contract customers' end customers complete the offering.

Quality management
Production is carried out in accordance with Cosmetic GMP per DIN ISO 22716 with incoming goods inspections, microbiological tests, testing of production water, preservation challenge tests and in-process controls through to CPNP notification. Barcode-based warehousing and production ensure traceability of all material flows; the COSMOS certification is externally audited annually.

Acquisition of a wholesale business for infusion solutions and chamomile extract products by Hansjörg Nowak; conversion into a service company for the development, manufacture, conversion and distribution of cosmetic products.

Implementation of the EU amendment directive of the Cosmetics Regulation.
