About us
Abdichtungstechnik Walzer GmbH, headquartered in Kenzingen, is a specialist company of the ISOTEC group specialising in the elimination of damp and mould damage in buildings. Its service portfolio includes horizontal barriers using hot-injected special paraffin against rising damp, multi-layer exterior and interior sealing, crack injection with synthetic resin combined with the Flexband system, salt-buffering restoration plaster, mould elimination in accordance with applicable standards, interior insulation with calcium silicate, humidity-regulating climate panels, building drying as well as cellar floor, cellar ceiling and balcony renovations. An internal process leads from the initial enquiry, through on-site measurement-based damage analysis, to remediation. Work is carried out by the company's own trained team of technicians. The company employs around 25 staff at the Kenzingen, Steinen and Muttenz (Switzerland) locations and has renovated around 3,000 objects in ten years, including commercial projects such as the Riegeler brewery and the Schwabentor in Freiburg.

Materials and processes
Special paraffin (horizontal barrier)
Injected hot at over 100 °C into the dried masonry, forming an approx. 15 cm thick barrier layer against capillary moisture.
Polymer-modified thick bitumen coating (KMB)
Used in the multi-layer exterior sealing of earth-contacting building components.
Flexible sealing slurry
Multi-layer interior sealing system for cases where exterior sealing is not possible.
Synthetic resin (crack injection)
Seals water-bearing cracks in concrete from a crack width of over 0.2 mm.
Flexband system (special tape with adhesive)
Bonded over moving cracks and joints and combined with crack injection.
Salt-buffering restoration plaster
Absorbs building-damaging salts, is diffusion-open and supports the drying out of the masonry.
Calcium silicate
Insulation material for interior insulation, particularly on listed facades.
Climate panel
Humidity-regulating mineral panel that raises the wall surface temperature and prevents condensation moisture.
Liquid synthetic material
Sealing material for balcony and terrace renovation with visually appealing surface systems.
