yellow z is a studio for urbanism and architecture with locations in Berlin, Basel and Hamburg. The team of architects and urban planners works on urban planning strategies, designs and consulting services in negotiation and implementation processes. The range of services includes integrated urban development and town centre development concepts (INSEK), preliminary investigations, framework plans, competitions as well as open space and neighbourhood concepts. Clients are cities and municipalities such as the state capital Mainz, the City of Bern, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (Eimsbüttel district office), the City of Chemnitz, Kaiserslautern and Nuremberg. For interdisciplinary tasks, the studio draws on a network of cooperation partners from urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, transport planning and research.
