About ABL-TECHNIC

The ABL-TECHNIC Group is a service company specialised in paint stripping and cleaning for the painting and coating industry. The company removes paints and coatings from metal and plastic parts as well as painting aids, complete trains, car bodies, heat exchangers and industrial plants. The processes include chemical paint stripping by immersion and spray methods (acid, alkaline, solvent), cryogenic paint stripping with liquid nitrogen at -196 °C, thermal paint stripping in pyrolysis ovens up to 430 °C, and mechanical post-treatment by non-abrasive blasting processes and high-pressure water up to 1,400 bar. In addition, derusting, passivation, conservation, recycling (plastics, metals, certified waste management company), filter management and logistics are offered. Wastewater is treated in the company's own facilities and chemicals are recycled. Customers come from the automotive industry, chemicals, oil refineries, power plants, the steel and aluminium industry as well as the food and cement industries. The headquarters is located in Leutkirch im Allgäu; the company is represented at 24 locations in 10 countries.

Materials and Processes

CHEM

Chemical paint stripping (acid, alkaline, solvent)

Immersion and spray processes at 75–150 °C for temperature-sensitive parts, aluminium, steel, galvanised surfaces and painting aids.

THERM

Thermal paint stripping (pyrolysis)

Pyrolysis ovens up to 430 °C, up to 60 m³ oven volume, for heavily coated components and heat exchangers up to 30 t.

KRYO

Cryogenic paint stripping (liquid nitrogen)

Paint stripping at -196 °C through differential shrinkage of paint and metal substrate, gentle on sensitive parts.

STRAHL

Mechanical blasting processes

Non-abrasive removal of ash residues, e.g. with steel balls or sand, without damaging the base material.

WHD

High-pressure water cleaning

Up to 1,400 bar (formerly up to 2,000 bar) for cleaning heat exchangers from refinery and chemical operations.

Al

Aluminium

Paint stripping of aluminium parts and aluminium wheels using the acid process.

Stahl

Steel and ferrous metals

Paint stripping of racks, springs, hooks, chains, steel cables and steel sheets.

NE

Non-ferrous metals

Gentle paint stripping with solvent for sensitive surfaces.

KUNST

Plastic

Paint stripping and cleaning of plastic parts.
