ABM Greiffenberger Antriebstechnik GmbH, headquartered in Marktredwitz (Upper Franconia), develops and produces electric motors, gearboxes, geared motors and frequency inverters for machines, systems and mobile equipment. Founded in 1927 and part of the senata Group since October 2016, the company manufactures application- and customer-specific drive solutions consisting of motor, gearbox, brake and frequency inverter. The company's vertical integration includes its own aluminium die-casting foundry with toolmaking, housing and shaft production, gear tooth machining, automated winding lines as well as cell and line assembly with end-of-line testing. Across three production sites (two in Germany, one in Poland), an average of more than 352,000 drives are produced annually. Customer industries include transport & logistics, electromobility, agriculture and construction, renewable energies, mechanical engineering, medical technology, building technology, lifting technology and safety and testing technology.
