About abp Antriebstechnik
ABP Antriebstechnik GmbH, based in St. Georgen in the Black Forest, has been manufacturing precision components for drive technology since 1999. The product range includes gear components such as bevel gears, worms, worm gears, spur gears, ring gears and internal gears in module sizes from 0.2 to 1.5 mm, as well as torsionally stiff, flexibly elastic shaft couplings (including bellows, double-loop, jaw and spring couplings), angular, worm and special gearboxes, and encoder accessories such as measuring wheels and clamping flanges. Production takes place entirely inhouse in St. Georgen, from prototypes and individual parts to small and medium series, in machinable materials such as hardened steel, bronze, stainless steel and engineering plastics. Gearing is slotting-machined or milled and, for high-precision applications, finished by grinding. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers technical consulting, design of custom solutions, quality control, assembly support, individual part marking and logistics including customs clearance. Customers come from industries such as automation, mechanical and plant engineering, robotics, laser technology, packaging, the food industry and renewable energies.

Additional services
Quality
After production, every manufacturing run undergoes internal quality control, in which QA employees inspect the products; short distances to production allow readjustment until the quality requirements are met.
