ABP Maschinenbau GmbH is a mechanical engineering company founded in 1991 in Magdeburg, which has evolved from a manufacturer of electro-hydraulic scissor lifts and classic conveying technology into a provider of customized complete solutions for conveyor systems. Its range of services extends from individual belt conveyors through conveying installations to automated material flow systems for extraction, processing, transport and storage of bulk and unit goods. Products are manufactured in solid steel construction, optionally in stainless steel, with corrosion protection by hot-dip galvanizing or painting. The in-house design department handles engineering including E-project and controls as well as foundation planning; this is complemented by assembly, commissioning, service, maintenance and spare parts production. Customers are found in the chemical industry, in hard rock and gravel/sand processing, in the recycling sector, in bulk handling and in the sugar industry; deliveries have been made among others to European countries, the USA, Russia and Asia.
