About ABT Sportsline
ABT Sportsline is a family-run company for vehicle refinement and motorsport headquartered in Kempten (Allgäu). Having grown out of a smithy taken over in 1896, the company today develops and manufactures performance upgrades (ABT Power / ABT Engine Control), sports suspensions, carbon fiber aerodynamic parts, stainless steel exhaust systems, forged aluminum wheels as well as interior refinements for vehicles from Audi, VW, CUPRA, Lamborghini, Škoda and Seat. Development takes place inhouse: from the first sketch through 3D modeling to release for tooling and prototype construction. Engines are tested on a certified MAHA apex roller dynamometer in accordance with EEC 80/1269, supplemented by an engine test bench and testing on the race track and in the wind tunnel. Special solutions such as the indirect water-ethanol injection system (ABT IWI) enable outputs of up to 1,000 hp. In addition to the tuning business, ABT operates a works team in the DTM as well as involvement in Formula E and Extreme E. Sales and export are worldwide; the products are TÜV-tested and offered with a warranty.
