About ACGB
ACGB (Atelier Chantier Grande Bruyère) is a French manufacturer of custom tanks in aluminium and stainless steel based in Bavent (Calvados, Normandy). The company develops and manufactures fuel, hydraulic, mixed and complex vessels to customer specifications – including shapes, dimensions and technical specifications – for small and medium series with the requirements of large-scale production. Development is carried out using 3D CAD, simulations and finite element calculations; this is complemented by prototyping, pre-series, EI testing and validation by official certification bodies. ACGB integrates peripheral functions, mountings and accessories directly into the tanks and serves industries such as commercial vehicles, coaches, bodybuilding, construction (BTP), marine, aerospace, defense and energy. A database of more than 9,000 configurations supports the project teams in the design process. With over 40 years of experience, ACGB maintains subsidiaries in the UK, Benelux, Germany and Canada as well as sales partners in Switzerland and Sweden.
