ACOTEC GmbH (Automatisierte Control Technik) in Recklinghausen is a manufacturer of barriers and parking systems. The portfolio includes electric barriers and barrier systems with barrier widths up to 8 m, parking systems with operating columns, entry and exit terminals as well as payment machines, retractable and fixed bollards up to 273 mm in diameter, turnstiles, rotary barriers, access control systems, video surveillance including automatic license plate recognition, as well as barriers such as fences, sliding gates, manual barriers and parking posts. All housings of barriers, columns, terminals and payment machines are manufactured to industrial standard; materials are steel (also hot-dip galvanized), stainless steel and aluminum, with powder coating in RAL colors or KTL coating. The Engineering department realizes customized system solutions, including terminal manufacturing, special barriers, mobile foundations and software development – exemplified by more than 100 truck control columns including software for automatic container clearing at the CTA container terminal in the Port of Hamburg. The range of services includes system consulting, system design, planning and tender documents, assembly, commissioning, maintenance, remote maintenance, support, training as well as barrier rental. Customers are parking system operators, municipalities, hospitals, banks, freight forwarders, chemical plants, ports and installation companies.
