About ACROSS Solutions in Metal
ACROSS Solutions in Metal GmbH is a medium-sized company headquartered in Velbert, specializing in prototype and small-series production made of metal, non-ferrous metals and plastics. The service portfolio covers seven service areas: concept development and design, prototype manufacturing using rapid prototyping, series bridge parts, assembly manufacturing, contract milling, contract pressing work, and laser technology including laser welding. All manufacturing takes place under one roof – from in-house toolmaking (tooling) to 2D and 3D laser cutting with accuracies of +/- 0.1 mm, CNC milling and folding, pressing work, and manual and mechanical assembly of complete assemblies. Sheet metal with material thicknesses of 0.1 to 10.0 mm as well as all alloys and hardened metals are processed. Customers come from the automotive and electrical industries, aerospace, household goods and medical technology, as well as customer-specific requirement areas; deliveries are made throughout Europe. The quality management system is certified to IATF 16949:2016.

Materials & Processes
Metals and alloys
All alloys and hardened metals are processed, among other things for series bridge parts and machining production.
Sheet metal (0.1–10.0 mm)
Sheet metal components with material thicknesses of 0.1 to 10.0 mm for laser cutting, forming and folding.
Non-ferrous metals
Non-ferrous metals, along with metals and plastics, are among the company's core materials.
Plastics
Plastics are used for prototypes and components meeting all market requirements.
2D/3D laser cutting
Trumpf laser systems (3 kW and 6 kW fiber lasers, 5 kW CO2 3D laser) cut with +/- 0.1 mm accuracy up to 4000 x 1500 x 1500 mm.
Laser welding
Amada laser welding cell FLW-3000 ENSIS M5 for joining work on assemblies up to 4000 x 1500 x 1500 mm.
3-axis milling
HURCO VMX 50 i with travel of 1270 x 660 x 610 mm and table load up to 1360 kg.
Presses/deep drawing
Hydraulic presses from 40 t to 400 t pressing force; the double-column press has a drawing cushion for deep drawing work.
CNC folding
Two Amada CNC press brakes (170 t and 50 t) for sheet bending processes.
