About Acrotec Group
The Acrotec Group is an independent Swiss group of companies specialising in micromechanics of the highest precision. It is organised into three divisions: Horlogerie-Joaillerie, Medtech and Precision High-Tech. The group manufactures key components for mechanical watch movements such as shock absorbers, balances, mainsprings, escape wheels and barrel housings as well as jewellery made from precious metals. In the medtech field, it produces implants and instruments for spinal, extremity, oral and maxillofacial, dental, ophthalmological and ENT surgery, as well as precision pumps for dialysis and diagnostics. The Precision High-Tech division supplies industries such as connector technology, electronics, automotive, aerospace and defence with over 600 employees, more than 10 production sites and over 550 machines. The processes include turning/Décolletage, gear cutting, laser cutting, laser engraving and laser welding, UV-LIGA technology, silicon micromechanics, MIM injection moulding, surface and heat treatment, and assembly.
