About ACRYHOLZ

ACRYHOLZ is a German manufacturer of stabilized wood based in Berlin. The company stabilizes wood through deep-penetrating impregnation with a proprietary acrylic resin system (PMMA) using the puq process, and from it produces handle materials such as handle blocks and handle scales. The wood species processed are predominantly native to Europe, including poplar, beech, birch, maple, ash, ash maple, walnut, chestnut, elm, lime, thuja, plane, myrtle and bog oak. In addition to direct sales via its own shop, ACRYHOLZ offers contract stabilization of customer wood from 13 liters volume with a lead time of around five working days. The coloring techniques include single-color, two- and three-color, and transparent variants. Stabilized wood from ACRYHOLZ is used in knife making, woodturning, instrument making, jewelry and design, furniture and interior fittings, arts and crafts, sporting bow making, and writing instruments, and can be sanded, sawn, drilled, milled, turned, and polished like hardwood.
