About ACS Motion Control
ACS Motion Control develops and manufactures precision motion control systems: EtherCAT-based motion controllers, servo drives, interface and I/O modules, as well as the associated application development software (SPiiPlus ADK Suite, ACSPL+). The product range includes the SPiiPlus platform, the IDM servo drive series, the compact ECM series, the dual-axis drive controller CMac-PX, the EM14B encoder multiplier and the LCI laser control interface for position-synchronized laser processing. Proprietary servo algorithms such as ServoBoost, NanoPWM, Force Control, LearningBoost, SmoothPath and MotionBoost enable nanometer to sub-nanometer precision, short settling times and high throughputs. Core processes are electronics manufacturing, embedded software development and system integration of universal servo drive technology for linear, voice coil, BLDC, stepper and planar motors. The systems are used by OEM manufacturers of semiconductor manufacturing and advanced packaging equipment, electronics manufacturing systems, laser processing systems and biomedical devices. Founded in 1985, ACS has been part of the Physik Instrumente (PI) Group since 2017; headquarters are in Yokneam Illit (Israel), with subsidiaries among others in Karlsruhe (Germany), USA, China and Singapore.
