ACTO GmbH was founded in 1990 in Braunschweig. Today, headquarters and factory are located in Wietzen-Holte with around 20,000 m² of production space; further branches exist in Braunschweig, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The company develops, produces and distributes hygiene, disinfection, antiseptic, wound care, personal care, cosmetics, industrial cleaning, dietary supplement, veterinary, agricultural and dental products as well as masks and dispensing aids. In addition to its own brand production, ACTO offers OEM and contract production as well as R&D services, and is also active in the sales and marketing of medical devices. The product range comprises more than 200 product types, which are exported to over 55 countries. Distribution takes place via its own portals as well as Amazon and eBay; the team communicates in eight languages.
