About Adam Wieland
Adam Wieland manufactures handcrafted design classics – at the center is the E2 table, also known as the Eiermann table. The product range includes bolted E2 table frames, premium table tops, complete table sets, an E2 standing desk as well as chairs, stools and accessories. The E2 goes back to a development by founder Adam Wieland, who in 1965, as head of the metal workshop for architecture at the Technical University, modified the original frame of the Eiermann table so that it became bolted and suitable for everyday use. The frames are made of metal, the table tops of wood or with coated surfaces. An online configurator allows size, cross position, surface and table top of the tables to be individually configured. The website is available in German and English; a showroom with in-house manufacturing is located in Karlsruhe.
