About Adatec
Adatec develops and manufactures communication solutions based on Nessum Wire technology, which are marketed under the Adatis brand. The solutions transmit power and data over a single two-wire line and are based on the IEEE-1901 standard (formerly HD-PLC). They support Fast Ethernet transmission over distances of up to 1 km point-to-point and up to 10 km with multi-hop. The product portfolio includes gateways, connected devices and development modules for system integration in various applications. In addition, Adatec offers engineering services: customization and adaptation of Adatis products to customer specifications as well as independent development projects for electronic products in various industries. The new 2Wire Converter of the 6th generation is based entirely on Power over Ethernet and supports standards from classic PoE to PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) with up to 90 W input power; on the 2-wire bus, terminal devices are supplied with up to 30 W.
