About ADC Automotive Distance Control Systems
ADC Automotive Distance Control Systems GmbH, headquartered in Lindau (Lake Constance), develops and produces sensors, control units and associated driving functions for assisted and automated driving. The product portfolio includes camera, radar and lidar sensors as well as control units for vehicle environment perception. The company, which belongs to the Continental Group and since 2025 to the orbit of the spun-off AUMOVIO SE, was founded in 1996 and sees its goal as contributing to “Vision Zero” – a world without traffic accidents. In addition to series development of driver assistance systems for the automotive industry, the company also offers driver assistance sensors for industrial applications. At the Lindau site, simulation models for camera sensors were also developed as part of the PEGASUS research project, including the reproduction of vehicle integration. In addition to Lindau, the company maintains sites in Riemerling, Ulm and Memmingen.
