About Additive Printing Solutions

Additive Printing Solutions (APS) is an engineering office for additive manufacturing founded in 2020 by Andy Schäfer, based in Haigerloch-Bittelbronn, Baden-Württemberg. The company offers 3D printing of plastics, metals and fiber composite materials on Markforged systems, which can process carbon fiber in combination with metal. In addition to additive production of prototypes, functional samples, small series and operating equipment, the service portfolio includes design, data optimization, consulting on the implementation of additive manufacturing, training courses and the sale of 3D printing machines. Laser cutting and laser engraving are also offered, among other things for gift ideas and promotional items. Customers come from industries such as automotive (crash testing tooling) and the manufacturing industry; for materials such as aluminum or PEEK, APS relies on network partners.
