Adesiv GmbH was founded in November 2006 in Weyhe in Lower Saxony, on the outskirts of Bremen. The company develops and produces coatings, adhesives and primers for the packaging industry with a focus on food packaging. The portfolio includes IML coatings (In Mould Labeling), special coatings for labels and folding cartons, blister and sealing coatings, barrier coatings, haptic coatings, as well as the DE-INK recycling system and the NaturBond bonding agents based on natural raw materials. Products are manufactured in water-based, solvent-based and 100% UV systems; substrates include paper, cardboard and non-absorbent aluminium and plastic films. In addition to standard market products, the company specialises in customised special solutions: from needs analysis through prototype development and the testing phase in production to application support and fully documented quality control.
