About Adestor Self-Adhesives
Adestor Self-Adhesives (formerly Lecta Self-Adhesives) is a manufacturer of self-adhesive and pressure-sensitive materials made of paper and film for the label industry. The company produces roll and sheet goods as well as individual components (facestock, adhesive, liner) for applications such as beverages, food, fresh produce, retail, logistics, personal and household care, and office and stationery supplies. Production takes place at the Almazán plant (Soria, Spain), which has existed since 1974 and is highly automated, equipped with coating lines in working widths of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 metres. Adhesive technologies used include water-based acrylic dispersions (permanent, repositionable, removable) as well as hotmelt rubber adhesives. Three slitting centres in Almazán (Spain), Garda (Italy) and Aschaffenburg (Germany) convert the materials and ensure supply across Europe. More than 80 % of production is exported; with eight sales offices and agents, the products reach over 80 countries worldwide.
