About Adler Brauerei Coswig
The Adler Brauerei Coswig in Coswig near Meißen looks back on a centuries-old brewing tradition: the brewing rights for the municipalities around Meißen were granted in 1444, and the first documented mentions of Coswig beer date from the year 1500. After operations ceased in 1978, the historic brewery has been revived since 2006 by Schröter & Krutz GbR with Michael Schröter and Thomas Krutz. The Lößnitz Pils is currently produced under contract brewing arrangements, among others at Glückauf-Brauerei GmbH in Gersdorf. In addition to beer distribution in keg and bottle sizes, the brewery offers rental of mobile beer tap systems, tapping accessories and cooling technology, as well as consultation, planning and pickup. As an event venue, the listed-building setting serves weddings, birthdays, corporate celebrations and events, complemented by catering from the in-house kitchen. The current range includes the Lößnitz Pils as 30-liter and 50-liter kegs as well as 0.33-liter and 0.5-liter bottles.
