About Adolf Staudenmaier Schotterwerke
Adolf Staudenmaier Schotterwerke GmbH & Co. KG operates a Jurassic limestone quarry in Drackenstein in the district of Göppingen, on the edge of the Swabian Alb. From the limestone extracted there, the fourth-generation family business produces graded aggregates, including frost- and gravel base course layers (FSS/STS), gravel mixtures, gravel and chippings grades, crushed sand, sand and chipping mixtures, gabion gravel and glacial erratics. The portfolio is complemented by the acceptance and disposal of soil material and excavated soil Z0 under VwV Boden Steine (waste code 170504). Customers include municipalities, industrial and road construction, landscaping and gardening, agriculture and private builders. The base course products are subject to external and internal monitoring; the company is a member of Güteschutz Naturstein Baden-Württemberg and Industrieverband Steine und Erden BW. After the quarry sites are used up, the company carries out renaturation and recultivation, for example by creating biotopes. A total of 14 employees are employed.
