ADS Kunststofftechnik (ADS Drehservice GmbH) is a family-owned contract manufacturer from Ahaus in North Rhine-Westphalia that machines plastic semi-finished products and produces precision CNC turned and milled parts from them. The machine park comprises 37 CNC machines operating five days a week, partly in 24-hour operation. CNC milling on 3-, 4- and 5-axis machining centres covers travel ranges of up to X 3,100 mm, Y 1,400 mm and Z 610 mm; on CNC lathes with 2 to 5 axes, turned parts up to Ø 500 mm and 1,000 mm in length are produced, also with combined turning, drilling and milling operations in a single setup. Engineering plastics such as PVDF, PA 66 GF 30, POM, PA 6, PE 500, PE 1000, PET, PEEK, PTFE and PPS GF 40 are machined. In addition, the company supplies sheets, round rods and cut-to-size pieces from plastic semi-finished products via an online shop. Customers receive components from one-off parts to series production, supported by MES-based order planning, CAM simulation and automation with robotics and bar feeders. Target fields include applications that require wear-resistant sliding and structural components made of engineering plastics.
