About AME GmbH
Advanced Mechanical Engineering GmbH (AME GmbH), based in Dortmund, is an engineering service provider for structural optimization, FEM simulation and design tasks. The service portfolio includes requirements analysis and concept development, new and adaptation designs in 3D CAD (SolidWorks), modularization and standardization of product portfolios, as well as numerical dimensioning and validation of components and assemblies, including failure root cause analysis and service-strength verification according to standards such as FKM, DIN and VDI. A key focus is function-oriented design for additive manufacturing processes; if requested, component production is carried out in cooperation with certified partners, e.g. by selective laser beam melting of TiAl6V4 with machining post-processing and machine-readable direct marking. In addition, AME GmbH offers modular training courses ("From Idea to Component") and consulting. Customers come from mechanical engineering, packaging machinery engineering and lightweight construction. The quality management system has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since July 2022.
