About ART
Advanced Realtime Tracking GmbH & Co. KG (ART) has been a manufacturer of optical motion-tracking systems for virtual and augmented reality as well as industrial applications since 1999. The company develops and produces infrared tracking cameras (including AT7-80, AT7-50, ARTTRACK6/M, SMARTTRACK3/M), interaction devices such as Flystick2+ and Fingertracking2, markers, targets and the DTRACK4 tracking software. In addition, ART offers VERPOSE®, a camera-based tool tracking for hand-guided assembly tools, and CAPTA, a markerless tracking system. Applications can be found in VR visualization (Powerwall, CAVE, HMD), metrology with sub-millimeter-accurate 6DOF data, robotics, ergonomics and failsafe series assembly. Research, development and production take place at the headquarters in Weilheim i.OB south of Munich. Customers include Mercedes-Benz, ArianeGroup, Bombardier, Fendt/AGCO as well as universities and research institutions; more than 2,800 installations have been realized worldwide.
